====== Generic-CAN ====== //Generic module for CAN networks with 18 GPIOs.// ===== Changelog ===== **Status: ** //Done, in use.// ^ Date ^ Comment ^ | 2008-04-01 | Project created. | ===== About ===== The Generic-CAN module is a small microcontroller board supposed to be connected to a CAN network. It can be extended using application specific expansion card that uses one or more of the 18 available I/Os or use the I/Os directly for simple applications like temperature reading or TTL actuators. The module program memory can be remotely updated over CAN using a CAN bootloader, see [[hardsoftware:genericbootloader]]. ===== Hardware ===== A PCB equipped with a microchip 18F2685 CAN microcontroller, an CAN-transceiver and a switched power supply. Image to be added. ===== Schematics ===== {{:hardware:svnimages:generic-can.sch.png?320|Generic-CAN - Schematic}} Schematic.\\ {{:hardware:svnimages:generic-can.brd.png?320|Generic-CAN - PCB}} PCB.\\ ===== Firmware ===== No firmware available yet. ===== Downloads ===== Latest schematic/PCB-layout can be found in repository\\ // /hardware/trunk/schematics/Generic-CAN/ // in [[documents:svn| SVN]]. ===== License ===== All information found on this page are licensed.
