The Generic-CAN module is a small microcontroller board supposed to be connected to a CAN network. It can be extended using application specific expansion card that uses one or more of the 18 available I/Os or use the I/Os directly for simple applications like temperature reading or TTL actuators. The module program memory can be remotely updated over CAN using a CAN bootloader, see genericbootloader.
A PCB equipped with a microchip 18F2685 CAN microcontroller, an CAN-transceiver and a switched power supply. Image to be added.
